DAVID AND MICK THRILL THE BILL AT END OF SEASON DINNER!

End of season dinner guest speaker David Millns thrilled the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar with tales from the world of cricket and was joined by special guest Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell for part two of the evening  and he to was in outstanding form .

The two men bounced off each other in the second part taking questions from the audience answering every question, covering many aspects from the game and there were plenty of football references to, with David Millns a Manchester City fan and Mick Newell a Liverpool fan.

The event went on well into the evening and raised some crucial funds for the Millers.

Congratulations to all those who won prizes on the night including John Greenwoo, Pete Smith, Jon Gilbert  Pete Shesrstone, Lee Ball, Dave Perrin and even David Millns himself , with the two speakers joining in with all the fund raising., two top guys indeed.

The speakers events form a vital part of the Millers budget each and every season and the club will be looking to follow up with an event to welcome in the new season, probably in September, before the legendry Christmas Luncheon which will be on Friday 29th November from 1pm. Guest speakers for both events will be secured and announced in the future.
