CRACKING GUEST FOR SATURDAY AND KEEPER IN ON LOAN!

Carlton Town have another big game Saturday with Bridlington the visitors to Stoke Lane. Tommy and Mark have also asked to put out a big thankyou to Mansfield Town for allowing us to take their young impressive keeper Louie Turner on loan for a couple of weeks while Mike Emery recovers from injury.

Louie has played against Carlton twice this season for Long Eaton United and Mansfield Town and was not beaten in open play in either game, only from the penalty spot by Mike Emery twice in the two 90 minutes.

Carlton also have a very special guest in for a pre match chat on Saturday when Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell will be the club’s very special guest.

Mick who is pictured at the Semi Final of the Senoir cup win over Nottingham Forest nearly 12 months ago with Tommy, is likely to be asked about Nottinghamshire’s excellent season last time round and his hopes for the new season in Division one following their promotion, Alex Hales back in the England set up and the fact Nottinghamshire do not have a men’s Ashes Test this year, he might even get asked what has gone wrong at his beloved Liverpool .

Mick is an excellent speaker and is sure to provide excellent pre match entertainment for supporters prior to the 3pm kick off at Stoke Lane.
