Thursday at Stoke Lane was a hive of activity with comings and goings and announcements and here is a round up.
1 Former Nottingham Forest and Leicester City star Wes Morgan was at the ground completing a signing session for Superstar Speakers and the Millers and Charity partners will benefit in the future after Carlton secured items from the session.
2. One of the best Elvis Presley impersonators is at the ground on Friday evening courtesy of a special event organised by Vice Chairman Barry North and Joint managers Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey are both expected to be in attendance, supporters can pay Barry on the door , entry to the event is just £7.
3. Carlton face Chasetown on Saturday and are hoping for a decent turnout for yet another big game with Forest v Blackpool on in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar from 12.30pm with an Happy Hour till 1.30pm and Nottingham Forest’s former chief Scout and goalkeeping legend Alan Hill is the VIP guest for the afternoon.
4. Mad Graham is back in town and was involved in a important meeting as the Millers worked on a plan to help raise money for the victims of the horrendous Russian invasion of Ukraine, expect an important announcement early next week as the Millers team up with the Greyfriars Club to stage a vital bank holiday fund raiser.
5. Carlton are delighted to announce they have been awarded another Cup Final, with the Empal League Cup Final set to take place at Stoke Lane on Sunday 8th May 11am, further details will follow in due course.
