COLESHILL TAKE REVENGE AS MILLERS GO OUT OF THE FA TROPHY !
Twelve months ago, Carlton Town hammered Coleshill 5-0 in the same competition with Alex Hardwick making a memorable debut.
A year is a long time in football and Coleshill looked a different team this time round and it was their turn to put Carlton out, with a 3-2 win in a rain storm after again being drawn at home to the Millers.
Alex McSkeane was the hero for the home side with a brace and despite Nat Watson (pictured) scoring a brace himself for the Millers pulling them back level from 2-0 down, Nat ended up on the losing side in front of a disappointing crowd of only 62.
Although the Millers will be bitterly disappointed to go out of the Trophy, at least there is now some certainty of the fixtures ahead, after playing not a single fixture at home in September.
Carlton were grateful that an Everton coach stopped off at the Bill Stokeld stadium today on their way to Leicester City thanks to Boatsy, it was a rare recent chance to actually sell some beer in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar.
