Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton pictured with Vice Chairman Barry North today praised the club Supporters and Lindleys for their backing in what as proved a pivotal few weeks for the club amid the Covid 19 Pandemic.

“I asked supporters at the start of lockdown to support my company Msr Newsgroup, in particular with the new web based App we launched and I promised in return if they did so, I would continue to support the football club financially”

“The supporters did so in numbers with lots of orders in particular for Castle Rock beer delivered direct to their homes with no delivery charge, among other alcohol and fantastic Chocolate offers and face masks etc and many continue to do so, we at Msr Newsgroup have lost ridiculous amounts of business due to Covid 19 and without the support of Millers fans, I could not have committed us to support the club next season, but you have not let me down, so I will not let you down”

“We now have a licence with Apple to move the App onto the official App Store which will be a massive improvement and we be launching that during August and I would ask all supporters and friends of the club to continue to support us, because in all honesty, business we have lost due to Covid 19 is not coming back any time soon if at all, I will reveal details of the new App as soon as we are ready to go, thankyou to you all”

“I would also like to thank our friends at Lindleys and in particular Dave and Ryan who agreed a new 12 month Sponsorship deal with me this week, incorporating advertising inside the Stadium, Front of home kit Sponsorship for the first time and seats at the Christmas Luncheon if we are able to have one”

“The deals with Lindleys and Msr Newsgroup whose Sponsorship includes the away kit front of kit, club tracksuits and the Academy Suite is vital to the future of this football club and I would ask supporters to take their vehicles for repairs and services and Mot’s to Lindleys wherever possible and support them and spread the word in the same way you are using and supporting Msr Newsgroup.

“They have branches in Carlton, West Bridgford, Arnold, Basford, Hucknall and near to the Castle Rock Brewery near Nottingham’s Railway Station”
