Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial Chief Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke usually pick a pint of Stronbow as their favoured tipple, but tonight they met at the ground to meet a potential new Credit Card Machine provider and do a de brief on news of their latest guest speaker evening booking which they had concluded earlier.

They purchased a Castle Rock DDH Pale Citra which is a guest ale for this coming Saturday and loved it that much and rather than revert to type, had another along with their meeting guest who had one too.

Enough about drinking preferences however and onto the big announcement.

From the Sky Sports Soccer Saturday studio, we are delighted to announce that former Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and England star Michael Dawson will be our very special guest speaker on Friday 9th June in The Howard Mitchell Sportsbar at Stoke Lane. A two course meal will be part of this exciting evening with tickets now on sale at £40 each and a table of 6 available at £240 and tables of 10 at £400 for this event which will start at 7pm on the night.

A massive thankyou to Colin Wilde at Castle Rock who has already stepped up to the plate and agreed to take the top table once again and sponsor the evening, so it was fitting we promoted a Castle Rock beer at the start of this press release.
