CARLTON’S MAIN SPONSORS MAKE SIGNIFICANT DONATION TO CHARITY AUCTION!
Carlton Town’s main sponsors Msr Newsgroup have today announced a triple whammy of prizes for the Charity auction taking place in support of World Game Changers and Carlton Town Fc.
Msr have already contributed to the auction donating hospitality at Trent Bridge for the T20 and the all new 100 competition this summer, but today’s announcement takes that to another level.
Todays announcement will give a fantastic shot in the arm to an auction that already has bids over 3k for existing prizes.
The momentum for the event continues to gain pace with more video messages of support continuing to come in and with the Vicky McClure/ Jonny Owen message now having over 15,000 views and messages by British boxing champion Leigh wood and Notts cricketer Luke Fletcher also achieveing substantial views.
Msr Spokesman John Hickling told us ” Many of us at Msr are aware that Boatsy has put in an incredible amount of work towards this event, we have been in touch with him via regular things involving the event at our head office and we wanted to do our bit to support him, the football club and a fantastic charity”
PRIZE ONE
Msr are donating 2 places in their corporate box at the City Ground for the first game of the 2021/2022 season whoever it is against for the auction. The usual price of purchasing a Matchday box for 8 people is usually around £1,200 so the two seats are worth around £300. The minimum bid accepted for this prize will be half that amount at £150.
PRIZE TWO
Msr are donating 2 places in their corporate box at the City Ground for the biggest game of the 2021/2022 season v Derby County whenever that fixture comes round. The usual price of a Matchday box for this game for 8 people is around £1,500 so the two seats are worth around £375. The minimum bid for this prize will be just £200.
PRIZE THREE
Msr are donating 2 places in their corporate box at the City Ground for someone to pick the game of their choice (excluding Derby County) on whatever dates it falls during the 2021/2022 season. Depending on the fixture the price to book a box is likely to be between £1,200 and £1,400. The minimum bid on this prize is £175.
Msr have donated prizes to Carlton Town in the past and anyone previously attending knows any one winning the auction prizes will be well looked after, with a drink waiting as soon as they set foot in the European lounge where memorabilia from Nottingham Forest’s two European cup final wins fills the walls and a guest speaker and legendary host make up the Matchday experience.
