CARLTON TOWN V BELPER TOWN, THE BUILD UP STARTS HERE!

Carlton Town fans have eagerly been waiting for a home fixture and they finally have their wish this coming Tuesday when they resume battle with Belper Town at Stoke Lane.

Carlton have only two local Derby’s this season Belper and Grantham, so even though it’s a midweek game, the Millers are hoping for a decent turnout and as well as what should be a cracking game against the Derbyshire table toppers, there is lots going on around the game.

Nottingham Forest Commercial manager Simon Fotheringham who also worked at Notts County during the Alan Hardy era is our very special guest and will be interviewed by the Chairman in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar at around 7,15pm.

Big friend of the club and Nottingham Forest legend Ian Storey-Moore will be signing copies of his brand new book priced at £25 each.

England v Italy will be shown in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar as England attempt to secure qualification for Euro 2024.

A big Thankyou to Chris underwood and friends who have sponsored the game and to MSR Newsgroup and Kelly Mitchell who have also taken out sponsorship packages and we all look forward to seeing Joe’s superb matchday programme.

The club are also hoping to do a couple of important presentations, relevant to recent events at the club and let’s not forget Dan on the decks, so all all it is a full on night at Stoke Lane.

A win for Belper will cement their place at the top of the table while a win for the Millers will push them closer to the playoff places.

Kick off on Tuesday 17th October is at 7.45pm with admission the usual £10 Adults, £8 Concessions and £2 under 16s.
