CARLTON TO PROMOTE THEIR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY ON FA CUP SATURDAY!
Carlton Town have announced their first food bank of the season for Saturday’s game in the Fa Cup v Loughborough University.
The club are very aware of the cost of living crisis and after talks with their Supporters Club, have announced a food bank will be in operation for Saturday’s game .
The club have also announced that their special guest will be Councillor Paul Wilkinson (pictured) who will be interviewed by Chairman Mick Garton before the game, his love of football, Real Ale and his life in politics as well could be questions asked by the Millers Chairman. Wilkinson is known to be proud of the work his local club do in the community and that is also sure to be a subject touched on.
The club also welcomes Roger and Dorothy Mee (ex Military) from the local foodbank and no doubt the Chairman will welcome the opportunity to catch up with them to.
The club tell us they will welcome food being donated in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar with immeadiate affect and hope their fantastic supporters and visitors from Loughborough will step up to the plate for this first collection of the season.
