BUSY WEEK FOR BOATSY AT THE CLUB AND NOW HE BRINGS THE FLAG OUT!
Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke has made a major impact at the club since proudly following in the footsteps of the late and legendary Brian Dennett as the club’s Commercial Manager.
This week however has certainly been one of his busiest. On Monday, he along with Graham were working on the pitch, doing a little job in front of the players tunnel following a request by Joint Manager Tommy Brookbanks. He was then involved in the meeting with the Chairman and Club secretary regarding one of the key ground grading improvements at the club, namely an extra turnstile, which has now been given the go ahead by Chairman Mick Garton.
Boatsy with help from his brilliant boss Mark and other friends has managed to secure some vital equipment to help with the work, while selling Face Masks all week to help the Club finances. He has now sold over 50 masks, impressive indeed!
He has secured a top table sponsor this week for the John O Hare night with local printing company Hickling and Squires stepping up to the plate, a big thankyou to printing chief Paul White.
On Thursday, our Commercial manager was back at the ground with the Chairman meeting a potential new sponsor and then Nottinghamshire Police regarding an initiative for our Junior section.
This website understands that at tomorrow’s away trip to Histon , his new away flag will make it’s debut!
A week in the life of Boatsy , oh and he started selling Race day tickets as well, an impact he is making indeed !
