BOB STEPS UP TO THE PLANE AS JAMIE DOES FINAL SHIFT!
Bob Tunnicliffe will the help of Elaine will be taking on the running of the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar and associated facilities in the coming days as son Jamie takes on the running of local pub, Inn For A Penny.
Bob has agreed to take on the role at least until the end of the current season including the Charity events which the club will be hosting in April and May.
Other Matchday staff have also agreed to continue in their roles for now and Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial manager Boatsy have also spoken to others about providing cover should the need arise.
Jamie is planning to still do some of the groundwork he does with the pitch and Junior training area and obviously everyone at the club wishes him well in his new venture.
An article in the Gedling Eye about Jamie’s new big challenge has been retweeted by the club. He is doing his last bar shift for the club tonight 4th January and takes over the pub this coming Friday.
Bob and Elaine will still be heavily involved with the Matchday Snackbar as well and we trust all our supporters will give them their support when they start their own new journey against Grimsby Borough this coming Saturday.
Kick off is at 3pm and one of the club’s key Sponsors Gilbert Wealth will be the club’s very special guests. Mike Hurley from Ireland has kindly sponsored the Programme and Msr Newsgroup the Match ball.
