BOATSY SECURES A CRACKING PRIZE FOR THE CHRISTMAS DRAW AND LAUNCHES HIS CHRISTMAS CARDS

Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke has secured a cracking prize for this years Christmas draw. With every game at Nottingham Forest selling out this season, Boatsy has not only secured two Christmas week tickets for the game v Bournemouth on Saturday 23rd December, it’s a bit better than that !

These tickets are a bit special as they include a three course meal in the Robin Hood Suite and premium tickets in the Peter Taylor stand and are understood to be worth around £250 each.
They will be the headline prize in the draw which also features £50 vouchers at Marco Pierre White, The Staunton Arms, The Boot Room and Amores at Gedling.

Boatsy tells us that tickets are already selling well and he is on a mission for the club to sell as many as he can between now and the big draw date on Tuesday 19th December at 7pm before the clash v Newton Aycliffe at Stoke Lane.

Boatsy as also created a special Millers Christmas card which he has paid for himself and those are going on sale at £2.50 each to raise money for the club.

Like Brian Dennett before him, the club’s commercial manager see’s not only the obvious costs involved with running a club at step four, but this week alone has seen the club call out a plumber twice for two seperate problems, deal with Electrical problems at the stadium, plus a problem with a drinks cooler and and an Air conditioning unit and up to 5 workman were at the ground today dealing with various issues and that’s not to mention the maintenance needed on the pitch after Saturday’s game and more heavy rain this week.

In a nutshell, these are the things that may seem mundane to people, but that the the Christmas raffle will help to cover in the coming weeks.
