BIG BOATSY BIRTHDAY BASH ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE CARLTON TOWN FAMILY ARE INVITED

Boatsy is heading out to Benidorm with a whole posse of friends to celebrate his 60th Birthday at the beginning of June, but when he returns the celebrations will continue at Stoke lane with a Boatsy takeover on Saturday 14th June from 1pm to 7pm.

There will be a DJ on throughout the afternoon and popular local singer Stuart O’Hanlon who is also playing at the Charity day on 18th May in memory of Adam Thomas, will be back in the house doing an acoustic set during the afternoon.

Boatsy has asked us to put out an invite for the whole Carlton Town family, players, managers, coaches, supporters, committee members, volunteers, infact everyone involved with the club to come down to the ground and celebrate his birthday, both on the patio and inside the Clubhouse.

He has also requested no presents or cards, but if people can afford it to make a small donation to the Nottingham school of boxing, an organisation very close to his heart, who do so much good in the community, collection buckets will be at the ground on the day.

He told us “A pound, a couple of pound , whatever people can afford would be great, I would sooner raise some money for a great Community charity than have presents and cards for myself, raising some money for Marcellus Baz to support “Switch up” would be the best present I could have” Boatsy concluded.

He has asked us to put out the date now, so that people can put it in their diaries and particularly those who could not travel to Benidorm, although he his hoping a good number of the Benidorm crowd attend as well.

kids are welcome and will have free use of the two five a side 3G pitches throughout the afternoon for what promises to be a cracking event to celebrate a special birthday for a special guy pictured here at a recent away game.
