BIG AWAY LOCAL DERBY NEXT UP FOR THE MILLERS THIS SATURDAY

Local Derbies are sadly few and far between these days for the Millers, with the likes of Grantham Town. Long Eaton United, Shepshed Dynamo, Loughborough Students and Quorn all in the Midlands league and Carlton still in the East League.
One game that is always eagerly anticipated however is the clash with Belper Town and this Saturday, it is the turn of the Millers to make the short trip across to Derbyshire for a 3pm kick 8th February.

Belper got the better of the Millers at Stoke Lane back in October running out 2-1 winners with Charlie Carter getting the Millers goal in the defeat.
Belper are having a good season and are firmly in a play off spot lying 3rd with 56 points from 28 games, while the Millers are 10th with 38 points from 27 games.

The Millers are on a decent run of form however with only one defeat in the last 8 games away at Sherwood Colliery on Boxing Day.
Carlton have won 4 and drawn 3 of their last 8 games after a difficult November and it is all set up to be a cracker.
