ANOTHER MASSIVE WEEK IS COMING UP AT CARLTON TOWN
Tommy announced on Carlton Town Tv last night that the management team had given the players Thursday off from training and told them to get some rest ahead of another big week at Stoke Lane.
Tommy mentioned all the away games, the travelling and the cup runs and he was right, time for a night off, before it all starts again on Saturday when Stocksbridge are the visitors at Stoke Lane.
With Nottingham Forest at home for the one of the few fixture clashes this season, the Millers accept they won’t get the same kind of crowd that filled up Stoke Lane on Tuesday, but given the team’s form, they are hoping for a decent turnout and more of the same next Tuesday when Stockton are the visitors to Stoke Lane.
A big thankyou to Vice Chairman Barry North who has sponsored the Matchball for Saturday and to Mark Steggles who has done the same for next Tuesday. To take out of of the usual Sponsorship packages, contact Boatsy on 07907 064189.
Finally a massive thankyou to our former Press Officer Dean Wykes, close friend of the club and the Chairman who won £200 on the September 200 club and last night donated half of it back by the way of two Matchball sponsorship packages.
On the football pitch, the week finishes with an away fixture at Bridlington and the night before that on Friday 27th October, the Firework Extravaganza at Stoke Lane is another big night for the club, outstanding value has been offered on the tickets at only £12.50 for a Family 2+2, £5 Adults and £2.50 Children and on the night £15, £6 and £3.
A quick google check at other events will show the brillance of the offer being provided by Carlton Town Fc with stalls and Fairground rounds, Ian Storey-Moore signing copies of his cracking new book and top Dj Sanj Beri on the decks.
