A MESSAGE TO THE MILLERS FROM VICE CHAIRMAN BARRY!
Carlton Town Vice Chairman Barry North says the club are still high in his thoughts and he has been following the progress on the websites, social Media and through chats with the likes of Mick and Tommy.
Many asked where Barry and Gary were on again on Saturday and Barry has given us permission to put out a statement.
Gary was taken to hospital 3 weeks ago , because he was repeatedly bringing up his food and was clearly quite ill.
Barry has been at his bedside in hospital since then as Gary’s condition has become increasingly serious, with him not able to digest any food at all and obviously losing weight.
Gary had to receive injections into his stomach, which have naturally proved challenging and the doctors are looking at the possibility of an operation.
Barry is currently in talks with the hospital to try and find the best way to treat Gary, but at the moment, despite his pleasure that the club is doing well, Gary is obviously his priority.
Barry has asked us to thank you all who have enquired after him and Gary and wishes Tommy, Mark and the boys all the best in the coming days as they attempt to ensure a playoff place.
When Carlton take on Dunston on Tuesday night at Stoke lane, Barry and Gary will be cheering the club on from the hospital in Leicestershire, as we know that our president Roger Smith continues to do from his hospital bed at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.
Barry and Roger are pictured together after the Shepshed friendly last summer in memory of Vice President Jackie Norh, Barry’s wife who sadly passed away last summer.
