A BIG WELCOME TO MARK RATHBONE AND PRAISE FOR MASCOT PACKAGES!

The news keeps coming thick and fast from Stoke Lane and Joint managers Tommy and Mark have moved quickly to sign a new keeper after Keiran Preston was recalled by Basford United.

Carlton have signed Mark Rathbone (pictured) from Eastwood after receiving impressive reports about the young goalkeeper and Rathbone formerly with Derbyshire rivals Belper Town is expected to make his debut on Saturday at Loughborough Dynamos. A massive Carlton Town welcome to Mark from everyone at the club.

In other news, Commercial Manager Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke has reported fantastic feedback for the mascot package including from the Boxing club, the under 10’s who were guests on Saturday and from Charity Chief Paul Lowe who was so happy with his recent experience for his grandson, he has booked another one.

It was fantastic indeed to have the Carlton Town Yellows under 10’s as the special guests v Wisbech and manager Dan Stravino who was congratulated by both Tommy and Mark on Saturday spoke to Millers Chairman Mick Garton for Carlton Town Tv in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar before Saturday’s game.
