No Carlton Town produced an excellent display at Spalding to take all the points in their latest away trip.

Golas from Nat Watson, Niall Davey and a late Tom Maddison penalty did the job for the impressive Millers and closed the gap to the playoffs to four points.

Any Carlton fans who reads the Sunday Times will have woke up to a nice surprise in the sports section this morning with regular columnist Jonny Owen talking about his visit to Stoke Lane last Tuesday, which he said he really enjoyed. The Talksport presenter also spoke about it in very positive terms on his Talksport Sunday morning show “Jonny Owen and Friends”.

Owen’s comments will be seen as a major boost to the Non League game and his comments have certainly gone down well with the Carlton Town Supporters Club who quickly responded on Twitter to the popular presenter’s coverage.
