20 YEARS OF CARLTON TOWN GOLF DAYS AND A NEW HOME IS ANNOUNCED

Carlton Town will hold their 20th Annual Golf Day this year and before he went into hospital, Club President Roger Smith made the decision to move the event this year to a new venue after 19 years at Oakmere Park.

This year’s event will be at popular Nottingham course Ramsdale Park which is on Oxton Road in Calverton and with Roger still sadly in hospital, all be it now on a recovery programme in Sheffield, Mark Steggles has stepped up to the plate for Roger and has this week been organising this years event.

We are delighted to today announce that this years event will take place on Friday 20th September with a start time of around 10.52am.

Entry to this event for a team of four is just £200 meaning the price has only risen by £40 in 20 years from the original entry fee of £160, impressive indeed!
The price includes a Bacon Cob on arrival with tea or coffee and a meal after the round.
Chairman Mick Garton will make an appearance at the new venue for the first time, but only to sell raffle tickets and help with the presentation, no appearance on the course for Mick, Club Photographer Lou Lardi will also hopefully be in attendance for this historic event.

The first prize for the winning team will be Executive Box Hospitality at Nottingham Forest for a game during the 2024-2025 season worth over £1,100 pounds which includes a two course meal at the famous City Ground pre match.
