10 MAN MILLERS SECURE LATE POINT AT ASHINGTON !

Carlton Town had Dean Freeman (pictured) to thank after the Millers played a considerable chunk of the game with only 10 men after Ollie Clark was sent off in the first half at Ashington.

Lawrence Stuart had put Carlton in front with one of his specials, from 30 yards no less, but Ashington were awarded a penalty just after the half hour and Josh Gilchrist made no mistake from the spot.

The game then took a further twist for the worse with Clark controversially sent off and Ashington took the lead soon after through Michael Ndlweni and Carlton were up against it.

Fight back they did however and Dean Freeman scored a vital header for the Millers on 76 and the Millers then had chances to have won the game, but were also thankful for a fine save from Felix late on and in the end got a share of the spoils, a reward for a batting performance.

The Millers are now 12th with 27 points from 21 games and look forward to the busy Christmas schedule, starting with the visit of Bridlington next Saturday 21st December 3pm.

After the game, Carlton Town Tv spoke to Andy Clerke and Kyle Sargent who reflected on the controversial incidents and a hard earned point.
