A GOOD WEEK FOR SCOTTS AWAY DAY MILLERS!

Promotion Confirmed

AKAUNU AT THE DOUBLE AT MARKET DRAYTON!

Wayne Scotts Carlton Town side finished off a highly satisfying week for the club with an important 3-1 win at Market Drayton, their 3rd successive win there.

Carlton have got sucked into the relegation zone in recent weeks mainly because of recent postponements, but the key is to pick up points when they have got games and Carlton have recovered well from their heavy Boxing Day defeat at the hands of the unstoppable and still unbeaten in the league Basford United.

A 2-2 draw at Romulus was followed by a midweek 6-1 away win in the County Cup at Radford and the win at Market Drayton thanks to a brace from Akaunu and a goal from leading scorer Jordan Wilson has moved Carlton up the table.

Carlton now sit 17th although they are only 3 points off the bottom as everyone continues to beat each other in this fiercely competitive league.

The league table shows what an important win this was for Scotts Millers and after winning two away games in a week, Scott will be hoping to find the same level of performance when Spalding visit Stoke Lane next Saturday.
