The weekend started well thanks to goals from Jake Carlisle and Danny Gordon in an impressive 2-1 away win at Spalding.

Further good news followed with the final tickets for this years Christmas Luncheon with former Nottingham Forest star Paul McGregor selling on Monday meaning this years event is a sell out once again.

The Christmas Draw has been launched with supporter Mick Greenwood (pictured) buying the first tickets off Chairman Mick Garton at the weekend and tickets will soon be available from all the usual suspects.

Work is going on towards producing a very special tribute programme for Paul Shelton on Saturday for his memorial game when his ashes will be placed in the goalmouth after the fixture v Loughborough Dynamo which is also a school Partnership game with Willow Farm Junior School the clubs special guests.

Shelts family will be guests of honour at the fixture with special extra contributons in the programme from Tommy Brookbanks, Roger Smith, Julian Wilson, Pauls nephew Tom, Loughborough Dynamos John Bryson, The Millers Dressing Room and pictures from the celebration of Shelts life at the wake at Carltons Clubhouse.

Screech owl will make its Real Ale debut behind the bar on Saturday in a special pin from Castle Rock as part of the celebration of Shelts life and his favourite Clive Lancaster Sausages will also be on sale in the snack bar.
