BIG BANG, CASTLE ROCK, JACKS HOBBS AND THE BUNGEE TRAMPOLINE!

Carlton Towns Annual Firework Extravaganza once again attracted a bumper crowd and although numbers did not reach the record highs of 2016, there was still decent numbers inside The Bill Stokeld Stadium for what proved another super evening.

Castle Rocks Real Ale bar proved a hit with Preservation going down a treat and selling out first before people moved on Sheriffs Tipple and the ever popular Harvest Pale and Elsie Mo. 

Special guest Nottingham Forests Jack Hobbs pictured with Millers President Roger Smith was a star indeed and went down brilliantly with kids, parents and grandparents in an hour long meet and greet in the Chuck Fowler suite, Jack also spoke to Millers Radio and Josh Hodgsons interview will be downloaded in due course. Jacks little boy Maxwell however stole the show with some quality Photo bombing which went down well and the Forest star stopped afterwards taking in the Fireworks and other attractions with his cracking little lad.

Jack carried out the clubs annual Firework fund raising £10 Superdraw with President Roger Smith and Deputy Commercial Manager Gaz Bee with envelope 68 coming out first, there were also prizes for envelope numbers 40, 142, 43 and 102 and the club will contact winners who were not in attendance on the night.

Big Bang deserve enormous credit for once again producing the goods with a fantastic display and this years new attractions the Bungee Trampoline and Penalty Shootout proved very popular, mixed in with the other rides and food options including The Clive Lancaster BBQ. 

The club are grateful to April King Legal and Msr Newsgroup for their support once again for the event and the local Councillors who also got behind it and to Ng4 magazine for their excellent pre event coverage.

Attention on the fund raising side of the club now moves across to Christmas with the Legendary Festive Luncheon with Paul McGregor and the big Christmas draw which will be launched in the coming weeks with the draw to take place after the home game against Stamford on Saturday 23rd December at 5.30pm.
