CHAIRMAN AMONG CLUB REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING!

Carlton Town Press Officer Josh Hodgson celebrated last nights superb 4-1 away win at Peterborough Sports by representing Carlton at Nottingham Castle this afternoon for Nottinghams annual Beer Festival.

He was joined by Chairman Mick Garton who was a guest of Castle Rock along with Tim and Gaz Bee and Nigel representing the Supporters Club.

Josh and Nigel were both at Carltons first away win of the season the night before and Josh told us " This should have happened against Frickley but for their brilliant goalkeeper, but we were able to bring that form into this game and the few of us who made the trip were buzzing, we played some good stuff"

"I went to Basford on Saturday to do a bit of a scouting mission to watch Peterborough as we did not have a game on non league day, which I found particularly disappointing and Wayne was also there doing his homework and to be fair, he got his tactics spot on and this time we put our chances away, we needed that and hopefully we can build on it going forward " said the Carlton Town Press Officer.

Hodgson briefed Garton and others at the Beer Festival who were unable to attend and they caught up with senior management from Castle Rock and councillor Brookes among others who has been helping the club with their School Partnership Programme.

For the record, there were goals for Wilson , Gnahore, Gordon and substitute Aksumite and Carlton moved up to 15th in the table , Paul Shelton would have been proud!

Hodgson, Garton and co spent time meeting Nottinghams finest and the Chairman is pictured at the festival doing just that.
