CARLTON COMPLETE SIGNING OF WILFRIED GNAHORE!

CONTRACT FOR JORDAN WILSON AND LEAGUE CUP NEWS!

Carlton Town manager Wayne Scott continued his plans for the new season at a pace by today announcing the signing of former Nottingham Forest youngster Wilfried Gnahore.

Gnahore is a direct replacement for William Mellors-Blair who has joined Solihull Motors and the club will be hoping the former impressive Forest youngster can have the same impact as Mellors-Blair, who played a key part in helping The Millers stay up and win the Notts Senior Cup, the club wished him all the very best last week after his departure was confirmed.

Gnahore joined Forest has a 12 year old after being scouted in Paris and represented his country, The Ivory Coast in 2011 in the under 17s World Cup.

He has also had a brief loan spell at Ilkeston and Manager Wayne Scott and other Millers players have been impressed with what they have seen in training from the talented 21 year old.

Scott has signed the attacking midfielder/striker on a contract and also told us today that Jordan Wilson had also signed a contract with the club after joining, having previously been with Kettering Town.

Carlton have also confirmed the signing of another player from local rivals Basford United with Mason Coy joining The Millers this week.

Finally the draw has taken place for the 1st round of the League Cup and Carlton will face Matlock Town at Stoke Lane on Wednesday 18th October.
