POPULAR DEFENDER COMMITS TO MILLERS!

Promotion Confirmed

GOOD NEWS FOR CLUB AHEAD OF BEER FESTIVAL!

Carlton Town Manager Wayne Scott has today announced that popular ex Nottingham Forest youngster Lawrence Gorman has signed a new contract with The Millers and is the latest player to commit to Carlton ahead of the new season.

Gorman was excellent for Carlton after moving to centre half from right back following the departure of Romaine Graham who joined Long Eaton United and the fact he has signed a new deal is a major boost to manager  Wayne Scott ahead of the new season.

Gorman is yet another to show loyalty to Scott following the commitment of a number of other high profile players and with pre season training due to start in the coming days, Scott will be in a positive mood.

Gorman also contributed vital goals during what was on the whole a difficult campaign, but the delight on his face after Carlton won the Notts Senior Cup at Meadow Lane was clear for all to see and he also won the Chairmans award on the clubs presentation night which showed the high regard he is held in at Stoke Lane.

The good news comes just 2 days before Beer Festival weekend and 3 days before the class of 96/10 reunion event with Tommy Brookbanks and many Carlton legends.
