TROKE NOW FULLY BACK AT STOKE LANE!

DEADLINE DAY NEWS FROM THE MILLERS!

Carlton Town secretary Paul Shelton has this evening confirmed the signing of Alex Troke from Coalville Town.

Troke has had two spells on loan at Stoke Lane during the second half of the season, but has now been released from his contract at Coalville Town by former Millers manager Tommy Brookbanks.

Troke has shown flashes off his best during the loan spells, but is yet to reach the heights he displayed on helping Carlton win the Senior cup in 2014 and helping Coalville to promotion in 2016.

The former Notts County youngster is a popular figure at Stoke Lane however and manager Wayne Scott will be hoping he can get the best out of him going forward, after Shelton completed the paperwork will the 5pm deadline looming.

Supporters are reminded that their is a coach leaving Stoke Lane at 10.30am on Saturday for the away trip to Northwich Victoria and there are limited seats available at £10 each which can be booked through Brian Dennett.

Supporters and club officials are also asked if they could pay any outstanding Bonus Ball money into Jamie behind the bar in the next couple of weeks, so the club can close the book on it for the season.
