Promotion Confirmed

Former Millers star Callum Keane was cock a hoot today after scooping the 2nd highest prize in the clubs history with a £1,206 prize set to be awarded to him after winning Carlton Towns Bonus Ball with the number 48 coming out on Wednesday evening in the National Lottery, the number Callum was waiting for!

The former midfielder, now with Long Eaton United was delighted he had kept paying in his money after leaving the club, he phoned Millers Chairman Mick Garton this morning and thanked him for reminding him to keep his payments up to date or face disqualification.

"Callum told me the first thing he would do was buy some tickets for our Easter Draw and buy me a pint as a thankyou for reminding him to ensure he stayed within the rules, I am disappointed in particular for John Hickling who has been in from the start and been on 5 numbers for weeks on end in both of the last two competitions, but pleased for Callum as I would have been for Eddie, Dave or Lee who were all in the frame along with my son Josh" said the Millers Chairman.

Callum will be the clubs guest for Carltons game v Stocksbridge next Tuesday 14th March when a presentation will take place of the cheque for £1.206.

Bonus Ball will now finish until September and everyone is asked to bring payments up to date with Jamie in the bar on Saturday or next Tuesday at the latest.

Any one who as paid in advance can either use the money towards a 200 club membership envelope for the big June draw or next seasons competition or have a refund, supporters in this position can speak to the Chairman at either of the next two home games.
