PRESIDENT NAMES THE GOLF DAY!

Carlton Town can comfirm the story that appeared on our Twitter feed yesterday and that former player Alex Troke has returned to Stoke Lane for a further months loan spell from Coalville Town.

The paperwork was completed in time for the versatile former Notts County youth player to be available for the visit of Newcastle Town today.

Todays match is of course a school partnership game and in conjunction with Councillor Nicki Brooks, St John the Baptist school at Colwick are the clubs very special guests.

Troke is pictured with School Parnership liaison officer Julian Wilson promoting a previous School Partership initiative when he visited Haddon primary School on behalf of the club.

While one fund raising event was being completed yesterday, Carlton President Roger Smith was working on another and can this morning announce that the clubs annual Golf Day will once again be at Oakmere Park and will be held on Friday 21st July.

Smith is also delighted to comfirm that entry prices will once again be held at £160 for a team of 4 and anyone interested in taking part can contact the President on 07836 387009.
