ANOTHER FOREST LEGEND SET TO SPEAK AT STOKE LANE!

Promotion Confirmed

IAN STOREY-MOORE IS THE BIG SUMMER GUEST FOR THE MILLERS!

Carlton Town have today confirmed that they have lined up another Nottingham Forest legend to appear at Stoke Lane as this summers guest speaker and it is yet another of the finest players to ever wear the garibaldi shirt.

Ian Storey-Moore who played for The Reds between 1962 and 1972 scoring over 100 goals will be appearing at the club in June on a Friday night, with the date to be announced in the next few days.

50 years ago, Storey-Moore scored a hatrick in one of the finest games ever seen at the City Ground as Forest defeated Everton 3-2 in an FA Cup Quarter Final.

There was controversy when Moore finally left Forest, he was reported to be going to Derby and was even paraded on the pitch at the Baseball Ground, but at the last minute he signed for Manchester United.

Did Forest block the move because they did not want to sell to Derby or did the player change his mind, all will be revealed!

Storey-Moore was also chief scout at both Forest and Aston Villa and it will be fascinating to hear stories of what happened after he moved to that part of his fantastic career.

Tables of 10 will be £400 but individual tickets will also be available at £40 each and will include a 2 course meal in the Clubhouse Sportbar.

The dinner will mark the start of fund raising for the 2017-2018 season and is the second event to be announced by the club after confirmation of the day at Southwell Races on Sunday 16th July which was announced last week.
