CARLTON AWAY TO EASTWOOD IN SENIOR CUP!

Carlton Towns commercial manager Brian Dennett was given a massive boost to his Defibrillator appeal when former reserve and Academy manager Ian Spencer contacted the club after seeing Brians announcement on the website.

Spencer who still has much affection for the club where he had so much success, primarily in developing young players pledged £100 towards the defibrillator and told Chairman Mick Garton that it was a cause he did not have to think twice about supporting and was something he could totally relate to.

Dennett was ecstatic at the news, with £400 already raised within 24 hours following his own donation and that of Chairman Mick Garton.

In other news, Carlton have been handed an away draw in the Notts Senior cup at Eastwood Community FC which is expected to be played on Wednesday 7th December.

Carlton won the Senior cup in both 2012 and 2013 but it is Basford United who have dominated proceedings during the last 2 years winning it in 2014 and 2015, Basford have been drawn away to Radford FC.

Carlton meanwhile are running a coach to next Saturdays away game on Saturday 19th November to Market Drayton FC, the cost for supporters to travel is £10 each and seats can be booked by contacting Brian Dennett on 07979 647559.
